About Wirihana

At Wirihana, we create genuine leather pēke (bags) that are beautiful, durable, and kind to people and the planet.

Every piece is handcrafted in small batches using ethically sourced full grain and top grain leather—known for its strength, natural texture, and the rich patina it develops over time.

We believe luxury shouldn’t cost the earth. Our leather is a by-product of the meat industry, giving purpose to what would otherwise be waste. Each bag is made using time-honoured techniques that prioritise quality and longevity over mass production and speed.

From Me to You

I started Wirihana Supplies in late 2018 with a small idea, a lot of heart, and no roadmap. Today, Wirihana is stocked across the country and still growing strong. I am proud to deliver handcrafted pēke that carry meaning, culture, and care—with every stitch.

Our Makers

We proudly partner with a small, talented team of artisans in Bali, whose skills bring our designs to life. From design to delivery, they are part of our extended whānau.

Oscar

Our key liaison and leather expert in Legian. Oscar handles communication between makers, suppliers, and logistics to ensure every product arrives ready for the shelves.

Andreas (Bolot)

A master craftsman and the backbone of our workshop. Despite his youth, Bolot’s experience and precision are unmatched.

Eko

A detail-oriented artisan who takes pride in every stitch. His dedication ensures the highest standards in each piece.

Ajis

The newest addition to our team and Andreas’ younger brother. With years of experience, Ajis brings fresh energy and craftsmanship to our family.
